2012 - A grand pitch. A ritual to resurrect.

Hellraiser: Origins is Paul Gerrard’s brutal reimagining of the Hellraiser mythos, a ground-up reboot forged in flesh, bone, and belief. More than concept art, it became a full-blown vision: a haunting teaser created to help reboot the franchise.

Paul designed a new form for Pinhead , ancient, regal, a biomechanical god, and served as Production Designer on the shoot. Directed by Mike Le Han and captured on the then-new Alexa 4:3 with anamorphic lenses, the teaser brought Gerrard’s hell to life in motion.
